Guadalupe Torres has been dancing for over 17 years, studying American and International Ballroom and Argentine Tango. He has taught classes at several dance studios around Atlanta and is currently teaching at Dominy School of the Performing Arts. “Lupe”, as his students affectionately call him, has been the guest teacher for the Ballroom Presentation Group at the University of Georgia and the Continuing Education Classes at Georgia State University.
He has performed at many Atlanta area venues including the State Botanical Gardens in Athens; the High Museum of Art, which was televised on CNN Hispanic channel; World Feast; and the Hispanic Festival hosted by the Georgia FDA and the Small Business Association.
Mr. Torres has been with Dominy School for several years and teaches everything from Slow Dancing (Waltz and Slow Fox Trot) to all the Latin Dances and Swing. You may have seen him and Mrs. Dominy dancing at various Festival demonstrations joined by some of their students or at Bridal Shows in the Atlanta area. He is also available to teach classes at your party or event off campus!
