Closing Dates for 2023-2024
Below are the dates Dominy School will be closed for dance classes. Our closings are similar to the Rockdale County Schools’ Calendar; however, they’re not exactly the same. We will NOT close for all Teacher Workdays. Dominy School closes during the weeks of the school holidays so that families can take vacations and breaks together. These are scheduled Dominy School holidays, therefore tuition will not be pro-rated. However, if your student started late in the season, your tuition may possibly be pro-rated.
* Labor Day – Monday, September 4th
* Fall Break – Tuesday, October 3rd – Friday, October 6th (We will have class on Monday, October 2nd to make up from Labor Day)
* Halloween – Tuesday, October 31st
* Thanksgiving Break – Monday, November 20th – Friday, November 24th
* Christmas Break – Monday, December 18th – Friday, December 29th (Classes start back on Monday, January 8th)
* MLK Day – Monday, January 15th
* Winter Break – Monday, February 19th – Friday, February 23rd
* Spring Break – Monday, April 1st – Friday, April 5th
* We will be OPEN for classes on Monday, May 27th Memorial Day.
* Dress Rehearsal and Recital – June 2024. Location, date and time TBD.
