East Atlanta Dance Team

A competitive studio style-based dance team comprised of advanced and inspired dancers ages 14 and up (by audition only). Our team travels to 3-5 competitions a year around the metro Atlanta area. EAD dancers are dedicated to their team and work hard throughout the year in competing against some of the most prestigious studios in Atlanta. The chosen styles of dance that the team competes in are Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.

If you have seen "Riverdance" or "Lord of the Dance", then you have seen the beauty and grace of the soft shoe dances and experienced the powerful, vibrant energy of the hard shoe dances. Irish dance classes start with soft shoe and students love learning jigs and reels. As students progress, hard shoe technique is added.
